Be the Citys Villain [Update 1] Live Build

What the branded listing actually promises — no invented changelog filler.

Last updated:

Update 1

The live Roblox experience is titled [Update 1] Be the City’s Villain by No brainer studio. That is the fact this page is built on. We do not have a leaked designer document with twelve numbered bullets, and we will not fake one. Update 1, as players meet it, is the current game: the destruction loop, the bounty shop, the army, and the wanted-99 contract.

If you joined from an old private server without the prefix, hop. HUD, codes, and hunter timing belong to the live place. Official join info sits on the links hub. Parent context sits on the Updates Hub.

What the official description still promises

Paraphrased from the live listing, not from a wiki dream:

  • You are the most wanted super alive.
  • Flight, heat-vision lasers, ground slams, and chest blasts are the kit.
  • The city collapses properly when you break it.
  • Every building you level raises wanted.
  • The army answers: tanks, gunships, mechs.
  • Rival supers hunt at 55, 75, and 90.
  • Wanted 99 is the win. You may keep going — the game is endless.
  • Spend bounty mid-run to upgrade powers.
  • Play solo or bring a friend.

That paragraph is the patch note. Everything on this wiki — guides, tier list, tools — is a way to play that paragraph well.

What Update 1 is not

  • Not a new playable roster. You are still the villain (Players Hub).
  • Not a reason the win moved off 99.
  • Not a confirmed codes table. If the studio dropped a string with the prefix, it will appear on Codes after verification, not as a guess like UPDATE1.
  • Not a verified script season. Scripts remains a safety page.
  • Not split-screen-only. Co-op is online; max 25 players in a server.

Practical changes you should assume on a branded build

Title prefixes almost always come with a shutdown. Do this checklist the first session after you notice [Update 1]:

  1. Rebind check. Open Settings. Confirm Flight is not under shop. Controls.
  2. Shop labels. Node names may have shuffled. Axes have not: mobility, laser, slam, blast. Spend with upgrade priority.
  3. Hunter timing. 55 / 75 / 90 are still the published gates. If a window feels earlier, play it as earlier — then report the feeling as an observation, not as a wiki invention.
  4. Codes button. Hunt Shop / Settings / Rewards. Redeem path: How to Redeem.
  5. Group shout. Join No brainer studio so you see the next prefix before TikTok does.

What to practice in this build

Update 1 is a fundamentals patch in the only sense that matters: the live city is the syllabus.

If a later update adds a fifth power or retunes gunships, this page will shrink to history and a new sibling will take the “live” job. Until then, do not sit idle waiting for Update 2 to make slam safe. Slam is not safe. That is the design.

Known unknowns (labeled)

We have not independently confirmed, and therefore will not state as fact:

  • Exact bounty-per-building numbers
  • Exact HP of tanks / gunships / mechs
  • Whether bounty is shared in a party
  • A published keybind table
  • A studio-authored S–D tier list

When those numbers exist in an official note, they will be cited. Until then, play the loop you can see.

After you read this

Spend a run. Use the bounty spend guide so the shop matches the listing’s own advice: upgrade powers mid-run. Come back to the Updates Hub when the title prefix changes. That is the whole patch-day ritual.
